GPS Trackit Activation Instructions

Note: GPS Trackit and InTouch GPS are separate platforms and APIs with separate SpeedGauge AVL accounts and different setup instructions. These instructions pertain to GPS Trackit customers only. Please click here for InTouch GPS (P4) instructions.

Customer Instructions for getting API Key on their GPS Trackit Dashboard. Or, see GPS Trackit video instructions.

1) On your GPS Trackit dashboard, click on ‘Settings’ then ‘Add Subuser’

2) Click Add SubUser – Add SpeedGauge and Password as shown below – ‘Save’

• Username: speedgauge
• Password: sg1234

3) Click Add API Key

4) Complete Form:

• From Dropdown Menu for User - select ‘speedgauge’
• For IP Address enter 107.20.224.25
• Save

5) On API Key, Scroll down to ‘speedgauge’

• COPY the API Key.

• Complete this Form with the copied API key and ‘Submit’
• This completed form will be sent to [e-mail]

6) Activations Team – From the ticket generated by the ‘Form’ completion, send API key to GPS Trackit Support:

To: [e-mail].

  Subject: “Fleet Name” – Please activate customer

  Text: Please activate ‘Fleet Name’ using the API key shown below.

Update Zoho notes that the above email was sent. Set reminder to check for activation.
