How to Add SpeedGauge as a User on your MyGeotab Account

[Please Note: The below instructions are using the newer Geotab ‘Menu Redesign’. If your menu shown is the older version, Click Here for instructions on how to switch to the new ‘Menu Redesign’. You can switch back if you prefer the older version.]

#1 Log in as an administrator to your myGeotab account at https://my.geotab.com

#2 Navigate to ‘People’ on the left side of the main menu and select Users & Drivers in the submenu.

#3 Then click ‘Add’ at the top of the page which will bring you to a form to fill out.

#4 Add a new user with the settings below:

• • User (Email): [e-mail]
  • First Name: SpeedGauge
  • Last Name: Integration
  • Groups & Data access: Everything (do not select any groups in the “Select groups” dropdown!)
  • Force password change on login: Yes (do not set a password manually!)
  • Authentication type: Basic Authentication
  • Security Clearance: View Only

#5 Click Save at the top of the page when you’re done.

#6 Complete the Geotab SpeedGauge account setup, you must fill out a simple form below.
