Geotab - How to update Reported Vehicle ID

In SpeedGauge, the Reported Vehicle ID can't have any special characters (#, $, -, @).  It needs to be an alphanumeric value.  In the example below, the "#' is not allowed. 

Updating Reported Vehicle ID:

1. Go to Vehicles & Assets
2. Click on vehicle that needs an update
3. Scroll down to 'Current Status and Installation Info'
4. Click on 'Replace with New Device' and then make the edit by removing any special characters
5. Click 'Save'
